EVERYONE IS WELCOME

Bideford Music Club has been established since 1957 and their concerts have been a prominent feature of the musical life of the town.

 The aim of the club is to produce classical music concerts of the highest possible professional standard, engaging young artists of international and national repute.   The Countess of Munster Musical Trust and ‘Making Music’ support two of the artists every year, among them in the past, Gerald Moore, Benjamin Luxon, Dennis Matthews, Anthony Hopkins, Leon Goosens, Patricia Rozario and Bobby Chen.
Each year workshops are offered to a primary and secondary school in the area, paid for by the club.   Members enjoy social gatherings at the Christmas concert, with Christmas fare, and at the A.G.M. with music, wine and cheese.
